Country Love Song
What evokes more emotion than a country love song? For some of us that feeling might be what the singer wanted for us to feel, while for others it is like fingernails on a chalkboard. After all, a country love song is not your average run-of-the-mill love song, it had its own character and its own following. Regardless of what our own opinion is on a country love song, there is no getting away from the fact that there are a great many people who love a good country love song.
What's so great about a country love song?
Those that love country love songs, they really love them. They are not fair weather fans, oh no, they stick by the country love song that has touched them the most. But, what is the attraction to those twangy ballads anyway? We have also wondered how a country love song can be so loved by so many while simultaneously being so detested by many more. Of course much of it is a simple matter of personal taste. But really, we think there is something more to it than that. Love songs in general are so widely loved because they feel us about something that we can all relate to, there is no class or race or any of that other stuff that gets in the way of so many other things. So, love loves have a universal appeal and speaks to the heart of every person.
A country love song, on the other hand, is not universal. It speaks to us also of a certain kind of lifestyle and upbringing. The people that are more moved and attracted to a country love song probably had a similar background to the singer or the songwriter and so the appeal lies here too in the commonality that all listeners feel. for those of us who cannot relate, not to the ,music or the words or the personality, well, we don't bother with it. It doesn't speak to those who do not have the experiences that the singer has had. And, let's just face it, somethings you just have to grow up with to appreciate.
