Love Song
Maybe it is the fact that it has to do with love, and anything which describes, laments. or celebrates love has the power to turn us to mush, but the love song has had a firm grip on our hearts since the first one was hummed. All you have to do is experience love to have any love song make sense and seem to be speaking of you and your situation. They do it so well in fact that sometimes it is just too painful, even to listen to a love song.
Does every couple have their own love song?
A love song speaks of a moment, and when we are having our own special moment with your partner, that song will often stick. It might even become "your" song, and when it is you will never be free of that love song. A love song has the power to bring memories streaming back, whether we like it or not. Once a love song has a certain meaning for us, that meaning will never die, even after the love has. A song that we once loved to hear can easily become a song that is far too painful to hear. It will bring back vivid memories that we thought we could contain, that we thought we could forget about, and often that we thought we didn't feel anything for anymore.
Love, when it is shared and has a chance to develop, has a tricky way of then rearing its head for the rest of our lives. The love two people share, when it is real, leaves an imprint on both people forever - for better or for worse. Many of us will get embittered and hardened to love, thinking that the last relationship was all that love has to offer. But, love changes, and it is never the same. It depends on the people that are involved and the circumstances surrounding those people. We cannot easily compare one relationship to another, just as no two people are alike. If love doesn't last, or it cannot be maintained, there is a lot more love out that up for offer that will be found when the time is right.
