Remember all of those teenage magazines that we used to read with our girlfriends? There was a love quiz is practically every issue, if not two of them! We had a riot filling in all of the information about the boy that we liked and would sit around with all of our other girlfriends and giggle to no end about all of the information that the simple love quiz told us. Growing up on a love quiz And now as adults we can have the same kind of fun with our big-girl magazines, because many of them also have a love quiz in every issue. Now the subject matter is often a bit more racy and not something that we would have understood as a youngster, but they can still be fun. Only problem is when someone takes a love quiz too seriously and actually makes a decision based on the information that they got from the quiz. This is ridiculous, you simply cannot make any concrete decisions based on a few facts that you have given and the results of test that some writer at the magazine came up with on a whim. We would like to think that nobody ever does this, but a lot of people believe a lot of strange things sometimes. The bets thing one of these quizzes are good for is some entertainment - entertainment value they have. When you are on the plane or waiting for the dentist to finally take you, a love quiz can be just the thing to make the time fly by and the results are usually so off base, or so vague, as to be meaningless. But, us girls can always get together and relive the old days when we were just starting out in the world of dating and relationships, and have a good laugh about how far we have come. cc Fri, 11 Nov 2005 15:23:25 EST
